The version you're referring to is the Juggernaut hack. For now, UMK3 TE doesn't have them on the screen, but Human Smoke is accessed the same way, and Noob is accessed by selecting classic Sub Zero, and doing Back + LP + LK + Run + BLK before the match starts.
(You can actually think yours truly for the suggestion of using Classic Sub instead of Kano to do the transformation, since we know about Classic Sub and Noob Saibot's being essentially the same character.) Now, for UMK3 TE.just very basics here. A lot of balancing going on. Lower tier characters getting buffed, some of the higher tier characters getting nerfs. Other changes as well. Jade's return boomerang can hit on the way back, even if it hits you on the way out.
I personally think that's stupid, because there's no friendly fire option for it to hit Jade if it whiffs. But that's opinion. Human smoke loses his air throw, but gains invisibility.
All 3 characters that can go invisible (both smokes and reptile) are timed instead of until they cancel it or get hit. Teleporters can only teleport out of the corner if the opponent is in the middle of being juggled. Scorpion gets a juggle combo. Glitch jabs are gone. Mirc xdccmule mac. Corner infinite (jab lock downs) are gone.
Noob Saibot has MKT kombos and a temporary moveset (ice ball, slide, and scorpion teleport). Some new combo paths for most characters have been added as well. Most fun for me is that both Sub Zero's can throw their ice ball when their clone or ice puddle, respectively, is out. Unmasked Sub also has a 'very near' ice shower now, making beating the CPU opponent RIDICULOUSLY easy.
Very near ice shower, CPU opponent runs right into it. SUJK into 6 hit combo, repeat till dead. Classic Sub's ice puddle is similar. Throw the puddle out, walk backwards and opponent will walk right onto it. Ice ball, SUJK into 4 hit popup combo.

I know that his air-throw is considered one of the main reasons why he's bumped up to the highest tier of characters. I don't use his air-throw a whole lot, just sometimes to end a juggle if I get the chances. (I'm a bit rusty, just getting back into it after not playing for ½ - 1 year(s).) What is the command to go invis with h-smoke?
