I am also looking for software for the 2050. I just purchased a unit which has ALE and even DES 56 (which I will never use). The radio came with the DES loading software CD but nothing for loading ALE parameters or programming the radio code plug itself.

Being an individual I can't even get anyone to quote me on the software or accessories. It's only for personal use! I could also use information on how to access the service menu, and any service info, so that in the future I can calibrate the radio (frequency, power, etc). Yes I have the proper calibrated bench equipment and two-way shop experience.
